“DC International School worked with SELF early in the 2022-23 school year to complete a school review that helped us understand the status of our student support and special education programs. The SELF team did an excellent job engaging stakeholders, including our teachers, leaders, students, and families. During the school review, SELF looked at student work, reviewed data, observed classrooms, and interviewed many stakeholders to examine where we could improve. The team celebrated our successes and helped us use those to build from as they identified the root causes of our gaps. SELF identified that our mindsets and plans were strong, but our execution was causing the gaps we were seeing in our students and in our data. The findings were shared clearly with our team and in a way that meaningfully laid out a clear path forward . The school review was an incredibly helpful experience that has helped us start the year with a clear vision of how we can improve systems and programming to accelerate outcomes for all of our students.”
