VP of Special Services at Achievement First

Christina leads Team Special Services, which builds and strengthens the continuum of special education services at Achievement First, a network of 30+ charter schools in NY, CT, and RI. Her team manages the vision and implementation for special education programming across the network through a portfolio approach, and Christina is the superintendent for AF’s first specialized school (AF Bushwick Empower).  Prior to her work at Achievement First, Ms. Braganza taught special education, worked at Teach For America’s Summer Institute, earned a master’s degree in public policy at the University of Chicago, and served as a special education leader at KIPP NJ.
